For my Arts Award I will be doing violin as I’d really like to learn the skill. I have been inspired to do this after meeting the National Youth Orchestra. We were given the opportunity to play many instruments, when picking up the violin I loved it. I was offered a one two one lesson and ever since have wanted to play.

Blog Post 1 - Video Diary - Week 1

Since im only just starting violin im aware im not as good as someone who has been practicing for years. therefore, im going to practice daily and work on my technique. Hopefully I will get a tutor who can help me with more advanced parts of the instrument and I will also be teaching myself sheet music.

I have made myself a violin timetable and my goals for this year is to add violin into songs as well as preform an entire minute violin peice with no mistakes.
