To start my Arts Award Journey, I have spent time exploring the space. I want to develop my musical ability, exploring the DJ decks, creating and producing songs for Soundcloud. I want to progress as an artist and create a platform. Along with experimenting with different styles and using different equipment I wouldn’t normally have access to.

EXPLORING THE STUDIO

Over the past few sessions, I’ve spent time exploring the recording studio and discovering the equipment used to create a professional track. One of the main tools I worked with was Cubase, the digital audio workstation we use in sessions. With the support of my tutor, I had the opportunity to record my own vocal tracks and begin to understand how the software handles audio.
