My first time in the studio learning about the equipment, starting to learn how I will use the studio to record my tracks. I have learnt that there are different types of microphones, like condenser and dynamic.

Learning how to edit videos so I can develop my socials, adding some music videos to my tracks will get me more views and listens across more platforms. Along with time spent in the studio, I was introduced to Cubase, a recording software I had never used before. Learning how to set up to record and start to look at how to mix my tracks. I have been comparing different effects with the original mixes.

Taking the time to sit and do some lyric writing has been a big part of this journey for me. I spend time in the studio alone to help me get into the right headspace and write bars. Once I start i have so much to get out, along with finding the right beat that fits my vibe. I also spend time on the mic free styling, to get inspiration, it helps me get out what’s in my mind. I’m inspired by everyday life, issues, and wins. It is something I have a passion for.

I have made a plan for my skill share and created a step by step 6 stage plan for how I will teach my lesson. This should help me when I do the lesson to stay on track and make sure I cover each step to recording sound with a microphone.

Skill Share Review
This is my review of my lesson with my We Are Noise tutor. We talked about what went well and what could be improved in the lesson. It was good to hear what my tutor thought about the lesson.

Skill Share Delivery
I changed my original skill share idea to recording with a microphone during the session because I thought a different activity would work better for the person I was teaching. I wanted to make sure they understood the activity and stayed engaged. Changing the plan helped me communicate more clearly and made the session more successful as I felt more confident. I learned that being a leader sometimes means adapting your ideas to help other people learn better.
